Shockwave Is Built For

Shockwave (ESWT/EPAT) is a non-invasive treatment for stubborn tendon, fascia, and soft-tissue problems — the kind that linger and interrupt the activities you love.

Heel pain

Chronic plantar fasciitis — first steps in the morning are the worst, and rest hasn't fixed it.

Achilles pain

Achilles tendinopathy that flares every time you build your miles back up.

Tennis & golfer's elbow

Elbow tendon pain that lingers through gripping, lifting, and racquet or club time.

Shoulder impingement & calcific shoulder

Rotator-cuff pain, including calcific deposits confirmed on imaging — one of the best-studied uses.

Small-to-moderate rotator cuff tears

Persistent shoulder pain and weakness that hasn't resolved with rehab alone.

AC joint sprain / separation

Top-of-shoulder pain from an AC joint injury that's stalled in recovery.

Hip & glute tendon pain

Outer-hip pain often called "hip bursitis" — frequently gluteal tendinopathy.

Hamstring tendinopathy

Deep buttock or upper-hamstring pain that flares with sitting, sprinting, or stretching.

Stubborn running injuries

Patellar tendon and other overuse injuries that stall your training.

Carpal tunnel

Hand and wrist numbness/tingling that hasn't settled with bracing or activity changes.

Scar tissue healing

Post-surgical or post-C-section scar tissue that feels tight, restricted, or sensitive.

Fractures & stress reactions

Fractures, stress fractures, and stress reactions where healing support is appropriate.

Simple by design

How It Works

1

30-Minute Eval

History, hands-on exam, and screening. We confirm the diagnosis, discuss the best options for treatment, if Shockwave is a fit, we treat the same day.

2

A Short Series

Expect about 4 brief follow-up visits. Treatment frequency and duration are dependant on the severity of the injury.

3

Back to Your Life

And back to your own PT, podiatrist, chiropractor, or coach if you have one. With your permission we'll send them a brief progress note. We're happy to be your shockwave stop.

Transparent, Flat Pricing

Why cash-pay?

The Insurance Reality

Most plans do not routinely cover musculoskeletal shockwave, and coverage varies by diagnosis and plan — a process that can take weeks and still end in a denial.

We provide transparent cash pricing so you can start without waiting on pre-authorization.

What is Shockwave

Shockwave therapy (extracorporeal shockwave therapy, or ESWT) delivers short pulses through the skin into a painful tendon or fascia. It is not an electric shock. The pulses are believed to change local pain signaling and stimulate the body's tissue-repair response. It may reduce pain and support function in selected tendon and fascia conditions — results vary by diagnosis, chronicity, and the rehab you pair with it.

Our device: the CuraMedix OrthoPulse Ultra — an EPAT (Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Therapy) device using radial pressure-wave technology. Energy is strongest at the surface and spreads outward, which suits the superficial tendon and fascia problems we focus on. Plenty of clinics blur the terms; we'd rather tell you exactly what we use and why it fits the conditions we treat.

Expectations

  • Some people feel early relief; most improve gradually over the weeks after the series.
  • Temporary soreness, redness, or tenderness after a session is common and settles quickly.
  • Evidence is strongest for chronic plantar fasciitis and calcific shoulder; we've seen great results for Achilles, elbow, and gluteal tendinopathy.
